Florence, Italy
I am looking for recommendations for good clean hotels or B and B in Florence Italy for three days in April.
Any suggestions on what to and see will also be most welcome. Any suggestions on Car Rentals? |
You'll almost certainly be advised about B&B Peterson, though I don't know if it will meet your criteria or not (what budget?)
See the following for car rentals: www.autoeurope.com (might be all you need) www.its-cars-hotels.com www.kemwel.com or www.travelocity.com As for what to see, you need a serious guidebook on Florence. Worth a solid hour of reading, if not several. Best wishes, Rex |
Kuku, Hotel Silla in florence is nice and clean with a helpful staff and a pleasant breakfast.

Nope. I will sit and sulk and not say a word. :) ((I)) |
Hi kuku,
I can highly recommend the B&B Peterson - abt 60E pp. www.bedinflorence.it More details in my trip report. http://www.fodors.com/forums/threads...p;tid=34451044 |
OOOOPS,
That's 60E dbl per night. Why do you want a car? ((I)) |
We are staying at the Hotel Casci in Florence this summer. We foundthis hotel on Venere.com a very useful website as each hotel is reviewed by travelers. The Casci got very good reviews! I would suggest staying there.

We loved Antica Dimora. A good location for seeing all, easy walking, great staff helped with everything, nice breakfast and nightcaps, beautiful rooms with excellent baths at a very good price. (As not to be in the room just off the lounge though). Same owners also have two or three additional properties nearby. One with a great rooftop garden with views of the city.
