Florence Hotels - Help

Has anyone heard of or stayed at the Hotel Belletini, Pensione Pendini or Basilea in Florence?

I stayed at the Pendini 2 years ago, and am going back in 2 weeks. I have heard someone say on this forum that they didn't care much for it, but I think it's great. Family run, great location, 5 minutes from the Duomo - part of it faces a big square that has bands at night, this time I requested a double room on the other side. Cost: $130. They have a website....
http://www.tiac.net/users/pendini/hotel.html

Hi. My family stayed at the Bellettini last month. We loved it. It was clean, centrally located, and had a great buffet breakfast.

Bellettini is great; ask for rooms in annex, short walk away. Beautiful rooms, marble baths; as one guide book says, "3 star quality for 2 star price".

Does anyone have an e-mail or web address for the Belletini? Thanks!

Pensione Pendini is great. My mom, sister, aunt, cousin and I stayed there this June. We had two rooms with a connecting bath, which is pretty rare. The breakfast was delicious and the hotel staff was very helpful and courteous. They held our luggage when we checked in and couldn't get into our room yet and when we checked out and wanted to look around the city on our last day. I would definitely stay there again- it is centrally located (so close to everything) and it has that intimate, old-world hotel feel to it but with modern amenities.

Kelly
