Florence Hotels/B&B recs-is $150 per night possible?

Hi All,

We're heading to Italy in July for 3 weeks (can't wait!) We have most of our hotel accomodations booked, except for our time in Florence (I think we'll spend a night or two in San G or Siena, too, not sure...). Anyways, I'm wondering if you could recommend any hotels or B&Bs that are around 150 US per night. Is this feasible? What do you think the best place is that we could get for that price? Would love any suggestions! Thanks!

Try the A Teatro B&B. We got a triple for 111E at christmas and the room and ensuite bathroom was HUGE.

We stayed at Hotel Accademia for about that rate last summer. Do I detect a Tufts grad???

thanks for the recommendations--keep them coming! (: And yes, Cmeyer, my husband and I both graduated from Tufts 5-6 years ago--we loved it there! (: Are you a Tufts grad too??

The smallest room at Soggiorno Antica Torre might work. Perfect location at Piazza della Signoria and I enjoyed my stay there. Cash will get you a discount.

Cmeyer-my husband actually graduated from the school of engineering at Tufts! (got both his BS and his MS). What kind of engineering is he looking to pursue? If he (or you) has any questions at all, feel free to email me ([email protected]).

These are lovely and well placed. We stayed at their Antica Dimora property. The staff is wonderfully helpful and the B&Bs are beautiful and spotless. Great breakfasts and evening wine. They also offer some last minute special rates at times.

GoJumbos - he's starting in just basic engineering but hoping for biomedical eventually. Will swim competitively and play water polo intramural. He's travelled everywhere with us and picked Florence and Venice as his two 'spots' to see for a vacation and loved it all.

We stayed at Hotel Pendini in April. Price was 110 Euros per night. We loved the location, good breakfast, helpful staff. We would stay there again.

Hi - Lots of suggestions, but here is one more. I just returned from Florence and we stayed at de Benci B&B near Santa Croce. It was friendly, spacious, clean, and included breakfast. We paid 120E for a triple.
