florence hotels
Has anyone stayed in either the Hotel California or Hotel Pendini? If so, please comment on them. Can't find either one in the guide books. Thanks.

I stayed at the hotel Pendini back in April. Got it on a reccomendation from a friend. The hotel was very nice, small lift, but otherwise good. We actually stayed in two different rooms since we used Florence as our airport city, they were both good. The location is excellent and the people who run it were very helpful in setting up museum tickets in advance, very necessary, and other things for us. You might want to ask for a room facing the courtyard if you sleep lightly as the street noise can be bad, we didn't and slept fine though. And the price was very good! Email me if you have any other questions.
