I can recommend Sleeping in Florence. We spent a week in the Casini apartment a couple of years ago and loved it. All communication and transactions were prompt and professional. The flat was bright and fresh and everything was immaculately clean. There were plenty of towels and bed linens, good cupboard space, and the kitchen was well equipped.
Be aware that there is no lift in the building so there are quite a few stairs up to the apartments. They aren't steep at all, but the apartments might not be suitable if mobility is an issue. The location is very central, which means that the apartments that face the street can get some noise, although the windows and shutters do a good job of blocking it out. We were there during an unusually hot April, when it was too early for the air conditioning to be turned on, yet too hot to sleep with all the windows and shutters closed, so sometimes we had some noisy nights. But noise wouldn't be a problem when the air-conditioning is on, or when the nights are cool. |
We rented their Conti apartment last June. It is in the same building as the apt you're looking at. The location was perfect, the a/c was excellent, the beds were comfy, and the whole rental process was easy and professional. I would not hesitate to recommend them, and I know we would love to stay there again!
I don't remember any noise, but we did have the A/C blasting 24/7. Yes, there were a lot of stairs. |
I've stayed there. It's nice, clean, roomy, super central, and a great bargain.
Re. stairs: If you don't have massive luggage, are even minimally fit (can walk a mile without becoming short of breath), and of reasonable weight it should not be an issue at all. |
Because our dates shifted, the falleri is not available; instead we will take the lepri.
