Florence Accademia After Hours
 

We are in Florence for 4 days/nights 5/21-5/24 and would like a true after hours/night/early am tour of the Accademia. A thorough google search has only turned up tours and guides that tout themselves as being "after hours" but are actually only offered during the regular admission times (8:15 am on). We have scheduled such tours for St. Mark's in Venice and The Vatican Friday night tour in Rome which will avail us of the opportunity to visit with fewer crowds. Does anyone know if such tours are offered by reputable companies in Florence for the Accademia? We would prefer to book with a primary tour group and not a secondary company that runs the risk of cancelling a tour at last minute. Thanks for any help!

Sorry, cannot really help you with this, but just to say that we were there late in the afternoon in October last year, about an hour before closing, and just walked in. There was no queue at all. Apart from David, this was the least interesting museum in Florence, for us. I can't imagine wanting a tour for this museum.
We had a Florence pass.

I also can't immagine taking a tour of the Accademia. Apart from the part around the David statue, it's practically empty and can be seen in less than an hour.
