Flooding in Italy

Does anyone know how things are going with the Tiber threatening to flood over and Aqua Alta in Venice?

Since the really bad aqua alta only happens a few days a year (and they just had the once every ten years tide). I wouldn't worry about Venice.

I've heard about the Tiber but haven't heard an update lately to know whether it's something to worry about. I'm asuming the Tiber is due to lots of rain. If so, you might want to check the long term forecasts.

Good idea bdj.
I just don't want to be wet and cold for two weeks.
