Barbara, here are a couple of suggestions. First of all, find out if the airline that is taking you to London can add on inner-European flights, we've done this in the past and saved lots of $$. Even if your airline doesn't have connections themselves, chances are they are alied with a carrier that does. Also, and this is second hand, I have heard that there is a new company that is doing "air passes" that are similar to rail passes that traveler's have used for years as in you buy say 4 flights and then book accordingly. If anyone else has heard of this, I would also be interested. Regardless have a great trip.
