Flights to UK

Hoping I can get some guidance on when is best to buy tickets from Denver to London. I'm going to be there for peak time, August 12-28, and need to buy 4 tickets. Any opinions on estimated best times to buy would be appreciated. Is there a website anyone knows of where prices for different markets have been analyzed based on time of purchase? Cheers, Nick

We went last year around that time (actually one week earlier) and didn't find a good deal until the end of June. We had decided not to go but out of curiousity I went on Expedia and lucked out with tickets from Toronto to Manchester for $569 Cdn each. Previous quotes had been $900-1200 Cdn each.

Hi NickandLil,
I just purchased our tix from Den to LHR for early Sept. for 503.00 before taxes for a non stop on British Airways. We've been twice before on Air Canada flying through Toronto for what we thought was a good deal of 350.00 before taxes. However, you'd have to PAY me to connect through Toronto again.
That said, is a non stop important to you? BA is the only airline that runs non stop from DEN to LHR.

Ani--what was the fare p/p with taxes? I've been using the BA website to look at prices for a late Oct. departure from Chicago--taxes/fees are nearly $200.

Besides mobissimo and itasoftware also try www.onetravel.com and www.kayak.com

Well, The total before taxes was 1046 and the total with taxes was 1444. However, we are traveling with a lap baby, for whom a service fee and taxes are charged as well.
