Flights to Cyprus outrageous
 
Hi,
I'm trying to fly from Tel Aviv to Cyprus and back at the end of May and flights increased by 50% in the last week. It's now $650/person for a 40 minute roundtrip flight.

Even the Cyprus office of tourism in NYC doesn't understand what's going on.

Any suggestions for another quick, weekend trip from Tel Aviv?

Take a ferry

I believe the ferry service from Haifa to Limassol on Poseidon Lines have been suspended. I took it in 1995, but not aware of alternatives right now.

Maybe via Istanbul/Ankara to Turkish Cyprus, or Athens/Crete to Greek Cyprus??
