Flights direct from Cagliari, Sardinia to Palermo, Sicily

We are for flights flights on1October 2014 from Cagliari to Palermo. Everywhere I have googled reaches a dead end, as far as direct flights go. They are via Rome. Does anyone have any updated info for us please? Thanks in advance. Cheryl :)

Check out flying into Trapani airport instead. There is a regular bus from the Trapani airport that will take you right to the center of Palermo, and it really doesn't take all that much longer than if you flew into Palermo airport.

I can't think of any and whenever we have been to Cagliari most of the flights seemed to be coming/going between Milan or Rome.

I seem to remember Ryanair started a service to Trapani, could try them.

Might an overnight ferry be an alternative?

Thanks for the responses, not up for a 10 hour ferry ride... get sea sick!!!

But I have found a Rynair flight on that date into Trapani, and the bus ride is around two hours.. and I save over 100 EUROS, and a few hours of sitting in Rome airport waiting for my connection. Thanks so much for that great tip SANDRALIST. Greatly appreciated.

Of course, you could stay a couple of nights inTrapani before moving onto Palermi... I really enjoyed Trapani, and there's Erice on that side of Palermo as well.
