Flight prices: MAD to IST July 11...will they drop??
 

Hello fellow travelers!

I have been diligently watching flight prices on kayak.com and mobissimo.com for my upcoming trip to Istanbul. I'll be flying from Madrid on July 11 and returning July 15. I started tracking the prices about 3 weeks ago and they were around $350 but going up. I stupidly thought they would have to come down. Unfortunately, they have risen to $500!! Do you think they will drop at all soon? Any other websites I should check?

You are traveling at the hight of the season.

Prices aren't likely to go down as you approach your travel date.

You could hope for a special sale, if the the plane doesn't fill.
