Flight London to Paris, Immigration and Customs clearance

have a flight from London to Paris do I have to clear both immigration and customs once I arrive? I dont know if UK is part of the EU and this is considered a domestic flight.

I am a Mexican citizen but this is NOT a connecting flight. I am already in the UK.

Cheers!

The EU is a real free trade area. So of course merchandise doesn't go through a Customs inspection when moving between its members (like from the UK to France). That's the sort of insanity fake free trade areas fart about with with if their biggest member is happier lecturing the world about free trade than actually practising it. Is it really true, by the way, that NAFTA doesn't even let Mexican trucks into Texas? Is there no word for 'free trade'in American?

The EU isn't a country. So you go through immigration when you fly from the UK to France.

Why are people so concerned about "customs" when they arrive in Paris. YOu don't even have to go through customs if you don't come from London if you don't have anything to declare. I have never once gone through customs upon arrival in Paris from the US, only immigration. As a non-resident, you only go to customs if you need to, it's just some small desk over to the side.
