Flight from London to Florence - which airline?

Thinking about traveling to Florence from London either around 6/3 or 6/4, but it seems that neither Easyjet nor RyanAir fly into Florence. The only one I found was Meridiana, which leaves out of Gatwick and into Florence.

Does Meridiana have a english site? Any experiences with them?

We will be flying out of Rome back to London, but if I can't get a flight into Florence, it seems I may just have to fly into Pisa instead.

RyanAir flies from Stansted to Pisa. Did you check flights from all the airports in the London area?

Michael,

Yes, I've tried whichbudget and skyscanner, but it seems like Meridiana is the only airline(not one of the bigger carriers) that flys into Florence - is this true?

Yes, that's the only airline. British Airways fly to Pisa.

Hi Anna - Flying into Pisa instead of Florence is no big deal - and may be cheaper than Meridiana.

Pisa airport has a bus shuttle straight to Florence (- 70 mins)

- or alternatively you can go by train.

Besides RyanAir (Stansted-Pisa), Easyjet flies Gatwick-Pisa.

Hope this helps ...
