I have a ridiculously keen sense of smell. I don't think I've ever smelled anything in the cabin of a plane except the overcooked food and stale air.

LucieV, you must wisely choose your seat far away from the line of impatient urgent people waiting for the facilities on the plane.

And learn about &quot;stale air&quot; by googling <b>aircraft ventilation</b>. The fact is that modern aircraft cabins are provided with 50% fresh air on a continuous basis, and older airliners, 100%.

But there was an America West flight a few years ago that had to land for a <u>lack</u> of gas. (Okay pedant, JET A.)
