I have a ridiculously keen sense of smell. I don't think I've ever smelled anything in the cabin of a plane except the overcooked food and stale air.

And learn about &quot;stale air&quot; by googling <b>aircraft ventilation</b>. The fact is that modern aircraft cabins are provided with 50% fresh air on a continuous basis, and older airliners, 100%.

But there was an America West flight a few years ago that had to land for a <u>lack</u> of gas. (Okay pedant, JET A.)
