I hear Kimhe's footsteps?

I attribute this to the homogeneity of the world culture and the oppressive rules of the EU. Flamenco is only identified with Spain and it is an attempt to keep the Spanish culture alive especially with the dislike of bullfighting.

"especially with the dislike of bullfighting" I take it you haven't been to a bullfight in Spain lately. Jose Tomas just fought in Leon to a packed house. The bullfights in Pamplona in July are sold out (19,000 + seats/day x 8 days).

They outlawed bullfighting in Catalunya.

Figures released recently by the Culture Ministry show that bullfight attendance is at an all-time low. From 2007 – 2011 bullfights in Spain declined from 3,650 a year to just 2,290 with only a fraction (590) involving top-ranking matadors against adult bulls.

But why won't you would cherry pick information.

Sorry this was supposed to be about flamenco.

Yes, you do get carried away at times.

IMDonehere Jun 25th, 2014 09:34 PM

Robert, yours was an unprovoked personal attack. My apologizes were to the others. You are a tourist professional, try acting like one.

BTW, your figures are for San Fermin, I would imagine, not that you would write such a thing.

If you have are getting remuneration from Pamplona or other Spanish hotels or other tourist enterprises, you should disclose that.
