Flamenco - Seville / Cordoba
Hi,
My husband and I will be in Seville and Cordoba in mid-September. We'd like to see Flamenco one night. Any recommendations on a show? Should we pre-book or just walk-in? Any advice is most appreciated! Thank you! |
when we visited Seville, Flamenco was our goal! But, most of the really good clubs had dancing at very late hours and after touring all day, beyond us. We found Casa de la Memoria and went to three of their shows...they were very good and I suggest you try to see them while you are there....I think you will like them.

Agree 100%!! CASA DE LA MEMORIA is THE place. for flamenco beginners.....well priced, shows are not late at night, guests not forced to buy drinks or food, none is sold as I recall. I will return there in March when I go bak to Sevilla!!! But tix in advance......

Thank you so much for the recommendation! I am booking now.

If you love Flamenco, as I do, you might consider a visit to the Museo del Baile Flamenco.....dedicated to the dance and its history.....it was really great...

Definately both venues that are recomended here above. Go to both (museo del Flamenco was founded by Cristina Hoyos. Remember her riding in on the horseback at the Barcelona olympics? )
https://tickets.museodelbaileflamenco.com/ When going to flamenco dinner theaters known as Tablaos remember you are also helping these amazing artists survive. The restaurant too of course but the artists are Making a living a this. If you can go to a live flamenco performance please do. |
Thank you to all for your suggestions!
