Flamenco and restaurants in Seville and Vejer
Hello all and especially Kimhe!
Finally our long awaited trip is coming up....
We will be in Sevilla from June 18 to 23rd, arriving from Canada on the 18th which is s Saturday. I am looking for recommendations for flamenco from Sunday. ( I remember reading somewhere that the more famous performers had shows from Thursday till Sunday at one of the better venues)
After Sevilla we will spend a few days in Vejer where our son will join us. Is there good flamenco there?
I would also like to compile a list of restaurants in Sevilla, Vejer and the coast. Looking for both upscale and casual, a good variety of options for lunch and dinner as well.

kimhe is the undisputed expert for Flamenco so until she arrives here's my two cents worth!
We really enjoyed the Flamenco show at the Museo del baile Flamenco in Santa Cruz:

Re restaurants we ate twice at Vineria San Telmo (just on the edge of Santa Cruz near Plaza Santa Cruz) - food was excellent and great value. Note you should reserve

Near the Museo (above) we enjoyed pintxos at this modern bar and the restaurant is very good too (pricey though)

We loved Seville - hope you enjoy it too!

Only top of the shelf artists perform in intimate Casa de la Memoria and La Casa del Flamenco. No food, no drinks, just flamenco. All the basic elements of flamenco, both song, guitar and male and female dancer. Changing artists all the time.

Just to give you an idea:
Adela Campallo dances almost every week in Casa de la Memoria (smaller scale in La Casa de la Memoria): https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZErj4L9-Q6s
And El Junco in La Casa del Flamenco: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sENoCuTQYPs
And Elizabeth_S, Kim is a boys name in Norway ;-)

... and in Vejer, you should check out the flamenco club Peña Aguilar de Vejer. https://www.facebook.com/Pe%C3%B1a-F...9647948192455/
Expect song and guitar and mostly a local crowd: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Kk0Q_D05DYI
