1. L'Orangerie and the Monet water lilies in their magnificent new setting.

2. "Mariage Freres" a Salon de The for lunch, in the Marais District.

3. Walk through the Place des Vosges (Marais).

4. Visit "Red Wheelbarrow", a great little English bookstore in the Marais (on the Rue St. Paul in the Marais)

5. Dine at Le Petit Pamphlet, a lovely neighborhood bistro on the Rue St. Gilles in the Marais.

I loved the Louvre, but then my desire to visit this famous museum was a big reason for my trip to France in the first place.

Personally, I was surprised and delighted by the Parthenon and its basement crypt. I really enjoyed the architecture, Foucoults Pendulum and the history of the building.

Cheers,

Murphy

There are so many things I love in Paris -

The grocery stores - buying something to eat, souvenirs, Pom Potes (yum!)

The pastries! The fruit! Markets, Patisseries, everything seems so fresh.

Just walking the city - above ground instead of underground as much as possible.

Berthillon (chocolate blanc was SOOO good especially!), the d'Orsay, the Rodin, having a picnic anywhere with a view.

Ride with Fat Tires on the evening bike ride through Paris - it includes a boat ride as well. Fabulous, one of the highlights of our trip!
