How wonderful for you Lisa! Great that you are taking the opportunity to travel before/after. You really should try to go to the Olympics! I live in Park City UT and ours were a fantastic experience.

Favorite gellato - impossible to choose! Minimum one per day is the rule though! Fortunately it all gets walked off......

Hi guys. I am back from Rome and had a fantastic time. Thanks for all your suggestions. I have posted on the forum, Back from Rome, and just wanted to let you know how much I appreciated all your advice. By the way the gelato was fantastic! Lisa

Hi

My wife and I spent 5-6 days in Rome last summer and it was great It was our first time to the eternal city and it is truly an amazing city. I have posted a trip report with pictures, links, restaurant "reviews" etc on my homepage http://gardkarlsen.com/rome_italy.htm . Maybe you can find some useful into there. I would recommend you to get a guidebook so that you can start your planning. We used the DK Eyewitness Guides and we were happy with that. Good luck with the planning

Regards
Gard
