It depends where you exit Italy from and how? If by air, which airport? There's no point in recommneding the Amalfi Coast if you're flying back out of Milan.
In any case Pisa is the first place that springs to mind, but it's really just an overnight. Give us a bit more info to help a bit a bit more.

Relax enjoy 5 days is barely enough time

Ok, Heading to Italy on June 5th, still not sure how to get there from Prague, we would like to go to Cinque Terre and some of Tuscany....any thoughts on how to arrange both between June 6
leaving back to US on June 10th from Pisa? Also, if we tour Tuscany towns, rent a car and where? I am having a horrible time with places to stay in CT. Also checked out the beautful site someone gave me for CT, toerretas and they are booked. Any help would be welcomed!

They may be booked, but I can recommend the Hotel 5Terre in the new section of Monterroso. Good location; clean, nice rooms; friendly helpful staff; good breakfast. I think whe we stayed there, we were the only Americans. (Make your own decision about whether that's good or bad.)
As for touring Tuscany, if you're interested in a guide who's very good, many people here (including me) have used Luca at hillsandroads.com. He's very good.

Tried the Hotel 5Terre and it is booked.
Another question.....as to where to start. flying into Milan on June 5th then train to La Spezia.
Should we rent a car and drive to Tuscany then back to CT, or visa versa ending in Pisa for flight back to US on June 10.
