You can buy a daily travel card for bus and tube, this can also get you some 2 for 1 deals, like the tower IF you purchase at rail station and have the voucher. Even without the 2 for 1 deals, the daily travel card is super convenient and a good buy. IMO other cards, passes, like the London Pass, not as good unless you want to GO GO GO , then maybe a London pass would be econimical.

Surely the 'must sees/must do's' are the place you most want to see and do, not those that others however experienced suggest. What do you like doing? What do you want to see? Decide that or have some idea and then ask how you can achieve your objective in the time you have. My choice probably isn't anyone elses. In four or five days you can get an idea of the main sites.

feet or tube (subway). But be aware that the latter shuts down very early(i think around midnight) - so figure cabs after that.

Seriously?

You want us to pick your itinerary when you've given it no thought and are now there on the ground? Something presumptuous about that.

Do your research - there are terabytes of info about London on the web.

thanks for the input. Big Russ, i didnt ask you to plan it for me since i have done that already. i just wanted to see if someone had other ideas than just the big main attractions. maybe your comment was for somebody on facebook. lol then again, if you didnt want to give positive feedback why did you even post anything. boredom must have gotten the best of you. i appreciate your thoughts anyways.

"<i> i didnt ask you to plan it for me since i have done that already. i just wanted to see if someone had other ideas </i>"

Nothing (absolutely nada) in your OP gave us <i>any</i> idea of <i>any</i> pre-planning or ideas of your own.

How can we give any sort of useful advice w/o some input from you? Don't be lazy -- tell us what you are planning, what you enjoy and maybe we can give you other ideas.

"<i>Best method to get around</i>"

From where to where and when??? There is no one size fits all "best" method.
