First time to Aix
 

I know there is some post about this topic before, but I still have some questions:

My flight of BA will arrive Paris De Gaulle Airport 2 terminal B, does it in the same terminal of the TGV station? I want to make sure it is really have the direct route from CDG to Aix( no stopover )?If I book the TGV from Aix back to CDG, the train arrive on 17:44 and my flight is 20:20, is the time enough for check in ?


Also, when I reach the TGV of Aix. How can I get into town. Does the bus stop nearby? Which bus should I take?

As I will go by myself( a girl ), is it safe to take the TGV and bus. What should I beaware of ?

I can answer two of your questions. 1. Yes, it is perfectly safe for you on the TGV (it's a luxury train), the bus, and in Aix, which is both a tourist center and a college town, like Ann Arbor or Chapel Hill on a small scale. As in all college towns, you can get in trouble by doing things like buying drugs or having unprotected sex with someone you meet in a bar, but by the questions you ask, that doesn't sound like something you would do.
2. There are busses from the TGV station to Aix, but the bus station itself is not quite in the center of Aix. Depending on where you stay and how much stuff you have, you may need to take a cab from there to your final destination.

Thank you very much! So, can anyone help to solve my first question that is does the Paris De Gaulle Airport 2 terminal B in the same terminal of the TGV station and can I have enought time to check in if the TGV arrive Paris De Gaulle Airport 2 terminal B on 17:44 and my flight is 20:15?

One more question: how can I go to Arle from Aix-en-Provence?

If you're arriving in Terminal 2B, the TGV station is not exactly in the same building, but it's connected by walkways, so it's easy to walk there unless you have too much luggage.

Arriving back at the airport with 2 1/2 hours before your flight should be plenty.
