finding an RER train schedule
Finding the RER B train schedule from Chattelet des Halles to Orsay should be a simple matter, but websties in France tend to be elusive and opaque (well there's always the pain au raisin to make up for it). Tips, anyone?

Why need schedules - those trains run so frequently why does it matter what minute they arrive and they do not IME run right on time but just so frequently you need not worry about schedules. Change at RER C the nest stop south of Chatelet Les Halles - then it should be the next stop going west on RER C I believe. |

annhig - I hear Google is the latest thing.
Everyone should try it, at least once. |
Horse's mouth:
http://www.ratp.fr/horaires/fr/ratp/rer Choose 'tout les heures', the 'direction' you want, and the Mon-Fri or weekend schedule... click 'rechercher'. Voila. A timetable. |
For suburban trains, there is this: http://www.transilien.com/web/site/lang/en

OOPS,
20 min walk. |
Of course, it should be mentioned that the RER B does not go to Musée d'Orsay. You would have to take the RER B from Châelet-Les Halles to Saint Michel-Notre Dame and then change to the RER C there. However, Ira has the right idea -- it is much easier to walk such a short distance.

Oh, but then maybe you really want to go to the city of Orsay. For that you need to check the Transilien link that I gave.
