Finally Paris

friends
A reasonably priced hotel in St.Germain Du Press. The Latin Quarter Or near there.
Any suggestions?
thank you very much

Pamlover, we can help you better if you state how much per night you want to spend on a hotel as we all have different ideas of reasonably priced.
We have loved the HOtel de Varenne which is in the 7th and an easy walk to St.Germain de Pres.

Also -assume this is for a couple who can share one double bed. If otherwise, please note.

(And I consider anything less than 300 euros reasonable - but think your price point may be different.)

Also, how long are you staying? If a week or more you may do better with an apt.

Hi
We are a married couple. Our budget is around U$S 200 one night.
And we'll be in Paris June 16. Only 3/4 days.
Thanks again.

Hi. We booked a room for a three night stay at Hotel de Suede St. Germain. It's in the 7th but pretty close to the 6th on rue Vaneau. It's looks to be in a quiet area but close to two metros. The reviews seem decent on booking.com but we booked through hotel website which includes breakfast if you book at least three night. We are paying about 140.00 euro a night. We haven't been to Paris in 20 years. We hope this hotel is ok but don't plan on being in the room much anyway. Good luck!

Hotel de Suede is on a quite street, not far from the Swedish embassy as well as other embassies. It´s a bit of a walk to any métro, the closest public transportation is the 87 bus going to the Eiffel Tower. To catch the 87 going the other direction, you´ll need to walk to blvd des Invalides.

This is probably more a hotel for those using the embassies than a hotel for tourists wanting to see Paris but if you like quite surroundings, it could be ideal.

Try Villa Mazarin.

I'm going in about week. for the last 5 visits I've stayed at Hotel St. Jacques in the 5th. A double room (2 twin beds) is 216 euros.

I would suggest you would rent an apartment, it is cheaper as an hotel and you can discover a the city in a true Parisian way. The apartment of the company I had a good experience with are always very helpful, you can just email them with your request and they'll be happy to help you! The name of the company is Habitat Parisien.
