Final Itinerary for 2 weeks in Spain
 

First of all I want to thank you for all of your help.

I took to heart a great deal of what you said:

8/28 Non stop ATL to Barcelona arriving at
Aug. 29 , 8;30AM Thursday for 5 nights and 6 days

Day trip to Girona and maybe the Dali Museum

Sept. 3 We are taking the 8:30 PM flight to Granada for 2 nights

Sept. 5 Wed. AM Train to Seville for 3 nights
Sept. 8 Train to Madrid via Cordoba for 5 nights
Day trips to Toledo and Segovia

Sept. 13 Return to ATL

I am hoping this gives us time to enjoy Spain with out too much packing and unpacking.

The only thing I'd consider changing is to add a day to Sevilla and reduce a day in Madrid. But I'm very inclined to Sevilla.

Even without any changes I think it looks good.

Looks like a great itinerary. Be flexible with the daytrips. We had 5 nights in Barcelona and had planned to do a daytrip to Girona but ended up staying in Barcelona cuz we loved it so much!

It's pretty near perfect. As usual I agree with Cathy, I might spend that extra day in Sevilla to do a daytrip to Cadiz. Did anyone mention how hot it's going to be in August? I might even spend 2 or 3 nights of Madrid in Cadiz at that time of year. However getting reservations in Cadiz in august might be hard.
