Final Four

Anyone know anywhere to watch Final Four in Paris? Arriving March 31...would love to see the Gonzaga game

You should look into live streaming it.

The first game would start at midnight Paris time and the 2nd game @ 02:30

If you can't find some kind of American sports bar, a livestream should be fine, just be aware that you'll probably need to use a VPN to watch it.

what is final four ?

janisj Mar 27th, 2017 10:30 PM

WoinParis: It is the championship tournament of US University basketball

They start out w/ 64 teams from all over the USA and play elimination games until there are just 4 remaining. Those two games determine which teams will play in the championship game.

Just Google American sports bars Paris and you'll get several options- may not be open that late however.

Gonzaga student here! I was wondering the same question, since I'm going to be in London on the night of the game. I guess I'll just figure out a way to livestream it... Go Zags!

Woin- NCAA March Madness is HUGE here - nearly as big as Super Bowl - so big not because there are so many college hoops (basketball) fans but EVERY work place workers bet on the winner and enter their brackets (winners at all levels) into a pool where usually there is a nominal fee to enter - say $20 - and the winner usually takes all or top 2-3 may share.

The first two days of the 68-team invitation tourney annually sees significant absenteeism from workplaces. The economic wags have deemed the March Madness that first two days costs the country millions in lost productivity.

Not sure if World Cup has a similar thing but probably do in soccer - oops football loving countries.
