File limit on post?
I guess there is a file limit on the posts.

But, the web site does not warn you of that limit.

This is a question. ?

Thanks
|
yes, there is a size limit on individual postings, but not on the number of postings. Rather than posting parts of your report as separate headings which will become separated very quickly, you can just "post a reply" several times to your original part one with each section of your report. That way the whole thing stays together.

Yes, and if you exceed the limit your post just vanishes. Always type into a Word document and copy and paste.

The unverified limit (which seems to have been borne out by the experience of a number of people) is thought to be around 500 words.

And it is true that if you exceed it and hit post, you get a "non-post". But lesser known is that if you hit "back" right then (or anytime before you close that browser window), the post is still "there" and you can retrieve it (into a word processing program, for example) with cut and paste.

Best wishes,

Rex
