We will be in Amsterdam in mid February. Thinking about taking the train to somewhere a little warmer.. Do you have any good ideas for 4 days? Thanks a ton!!

Eh? What's the point of going to Amsterdam if you want to be someplace warmer? Amsterdam in the winter has its share of charms and is not spread out like some other cities. Easy to pop into an intimate museum or cafe or erotic shop.<BR><BR>You would have to travel quite a distance to get someplace warmer - south France, etc. Good luck.

<BR><BR>You'd likely spend the good part of a day traveling in each direction but you could go to the south of France and back in four days. It's not going to be hot there in mid February but it will certainly be warmer than Amsterdam. <BR><BR>You could save time, but probably also spend more money, by flying roundtrip from Amsterdam to Nice.

Go visit the Heineken Brewry, have a few brews...that should warm you up.

No place in Europe is warm in Februari.<BR>It might be not so cold in Portugal, South Spain and Greece.
