The 24th of June is midsommer in Sweden and Norway.

Feria de agosto de Malaga: 13-22: again, another party, only this one has a fair complete with rides and discotechs. Great flamenco performances if you know where to look, the food is excellent and cheap, it is hot as hell, but since you sleep all day, it does not matter.

July 2 is the yearly gay pride parade in Marseilles.
July 9-august 6 in Orange is an opera festival held in the beautiful ancient Roman amphitheatre.
August 5 and 6 in Cagnes sur Mer is a medieval festival.
