Fess up! 7 Deadly Travel Sins
Got any to add???
This from USA Today article:
When people are away ? whether with a mate on holiday or solo on a business trip ? "they are someplace where no one knows them, so they don't have to worry about being exposed to family and friends,"
Overeating.
Overdrinking.
Stealing hotel supplies.
Watching in-room porn movies.
Visiting strip clubs.
Abusing expense accounts.
And the biggie: infidelity

After paying $25.00 PP for breakfast buffet and my children eat a bowl of fruit loops, I get totally frustrated. I usually will take some bread, and make PBJ sandwiches for later. If my purse is big enough I will put a piece of fruit in there too.
I know, I know ...thou shall not steal......since we are talking about sins, etc...

Oh yes, ditto on that one, amp322! But all the walking you do in Rome totally justifies supersizing that gelato!
My one big sin (if you want to call it that) is that wonderful thing that travel affords you, a chance to be your essential self without fear of judgement. I live in a town that's rather small (pop. 26,000), am relatively visible since I sit on a couple of high-profile board of directors, plus the school board, and it is just so incredibly relaxing and liberating to visit a foreign land where nobody knows you except for the persona that is just the essential you.
Oh my, that was liberating in and of itself!
