Ferry schedules in Greece in May

Planning a trip to Greece next May but before we book, wanted to know if the inter island ferries run a full schedule during this month. Looking at the Cyclades islands of Santorini, Naxos, Paros and Mykonos. I can't seem to find previous schedules since we are already into June.

According to my Thomas Cook European timetable yes - they are not just tourist orientedbut carry freight and cars for locals.

The short answer is yes. For the most part, by May the ferry schedules are on the summer schedule, and the ferries that connect Mykonos with Santorini will have begun operation about a week before Greek Easter weekend.

You can try using the calendar function at www.openseas.gr to backtrack to last May to see if it shows what was available then. But don't make the mistake of assuming that ferry schedules for 2018 will be the same as the year before. This is only for a general comarison of routes and timetables.

Thank you both. This is very helpful.

You can also search for indirect island connection in www.ferryhopper.com as it shows information on wich island can use as a transit island in order to avoid getting back to Athens. The ferry schedules next year will be a bit different, but I think that you can get a good idea on which islands you can combine!
