Ferry from Split to Hvar
 

On another thread someone mentioned a ferry from Split to Hvar town. I checked the Jadrolinija web site, and there seem to be no such route.
Does anyone know if such a ferry service exists?

There is both catamaran and slow ferry service from Split to Hvar (and back) - I'm having trouble logging on to Jadrolinjia site right now. The is high and low season service.

Checking Jadrolinjia - not sure if the sched. is high or low season. There is a catamaran leaving split every day at 2 pm, arriving in Hvar at 2:50. From Hvar to Split - Monday to Sat., leaving at 6:30 am arriving at 7:30 am; Sunday, leaving at 9 am, arriving at 10 am. There is also a slow ferry but that takes about 2 hours. Also - ferries stop at Stari Grad and Jelsa. You can also email Jadrolinjia directly - they've been very helpful in clarifying concerns.

Yes you can do this quick 1 hour trip on a catamaran rather than the slow boat. Check out these two sites.
