Ferry from Sirmione to Limone?

Hello! While staying Bardolino near Lake Garda, I'd like to visit Limone and Malcesine. Would you recommend taking a ferry from Sirmione, or just driving 40 minutes from Bardolino?

Driving from Bardolino to Limone is a 50 mile trip and you will certainly not do it in 40 minutes. That's the anti clockwise route BTW, the clockwise is nearer to 55 miles. The ferry takes some 2hours on the fast service but only run a couple of times a day stopping at the two towns

Sorry posted too soon.

I'm not sure why you mention Sirmione, as the ferries serve all the lakeside villages and there's no need to go to Sirmione just to catch the ferry. You do need to get a timetable though, as not all the services call at all the villages.

The drive from Bardolino will take you around 90 minutes depending on traffic and if it's busy, possibly up to 2 hours.
