ferry from mykonos to naxos in early September
 

I had tried to find a ferry schedule showing a route from Mykonos to Naxos a few months ago. It turned out that that was too early to try. But, now, I've tried again, and I still can't find anything. I keep reading and hearing about ferries between those two islands, but I can't find any schedule on the internet. (I have found one from Naxos to Fira, which is the second leg of our journey--so that is encouraging!). Can anyone tell me where I should look for the Mykonos-Naxos part? Maybe I am going to the wrong website. Thanks!

If you can't find anything from Mykonos to Naxos in September rest assured that you'll still be able to get there by going to Paros first.

Depending on the time of day that a direct ferry from Mykonos to Naxos might depart, you still might get there earlier in the day by going to Paros first on the 10am ferry, then catching the Noon ferry to Naxos which would get you there at 1pm. That's only 3 hours from Mykonos to Naxos. Not faster, but not too long a ride, and the trip would be broken up on Paros where you could sit and have a coffee while you wait for the ferry to Naxos.

Mykonos is on a different main ferry route from Paros, Naxos, and Santorini, so getting between the two is not always easy. If you are travelling before Sep 7th, FlyingCat 3 should go directly from Mykonos to Naxos. After that, your only connection will be through Paros or another island, e.g. SeaJet 2, Mykonos-Paros, 1000-1040; Blue Star, Paros-Santorini, 1200-1500.

To clarify, Blue Star stops on Naxos at 1240 enroute to Santorini. :-)

We will be doing this on September 10, so I guess the direct route is out.

I like the idea of taking the 10 a.m. out of Mykonos to Paros, and then connecting to arrive at Naxos in the early afternoon. I have found the Paros-Naxos leg on the Blue Star Ferries Website. But, for some reason I can't find the Mykonos-Paros leg. Brotherleelove or Heimdall, can you tell me where to look? When I look for SeaJet 2, I can't find a schedule.
