Ferry - Dubrovnik to Bari - Cabins
 

We're about to book the overnight ferry from Dubrovnik to Bari for our 2017 trip. We are planning to get a cabin and would prefer one with shower facilities. What is your opinion on whether it is worth paying the extra money for outside vs inside cabins or deluxe vs standard cabins? The Jadrolinija website is very limited on information or photos to be able to work out the best option.

The options that we are considering seem to be;

- 2 berth outside cabin with shower and WC

- 2 berth inside cabin with shower and WC

- Deluxe cabin with shower, WC, TV and bar

Anyone done this trip before or have an opinion?

Same decision as on any ship. If you are price-sensitive, go inside cabin.

But if price isn't a huge issue, an outside cabin is ALWAYS nicer, less claustrophobic, you can see out, see the sea views, see whether you've actually sailed, see if you are arriving in port, and so on.

Whether the deluxe with extra space seating area is worth it depends on the crossing. If it's 23:00-06:00, probably not. If the crossing is 18:00-09:30, perhaps yes.

Thanks good point.. It is an overnight trip, so deluxe cabin may not be worth the additional 524kn
