Ferry AND B&B deal from Aran Island Ferries? Anyone experienced?

I see there is a deal on Aran Island Ferries website for return ferry trip and one night's B&B lodging for 50 euros per person. Has anyone done this? If so, which B&Bs do they use? Good or bad experience? Seems like a pretty good deal considering the price of B&Bs on the islands.

Yes, we did the Aran Islands Ferry overnight package 2 years ago. The B&B that they used at that time was Clai Ban. It was not a fancy place, but clean and well-situated within walking distance of the ferry dock and next door to Ti Watty Pub.

Before we booked, I called Aran Island Ferries and asked what B&B they used and they told me. You could do the same in case they use another B&B now.

We found the Ferry deal to be a good one and enjoyed our overnight stay on Inishmore very much.

Thank you so much. It's good to know. Do you have any idea whether these sell out in advance. I'd like to decide based on the weather situation at the time. But that might be too late to get this deal. Any thoughts on that?

I would say there is a good chance that the deals could sell out in the summer months--not because of a lack of seats on the ferry, but because of rooms selling out in the B&Bs. (When we called Aran Island Ferries, they told us that they used 2 B&Bs, mainly Clai Ban and sometimes an additional one.)

You might want to give them a call to find out for sure. I found the staff at Aran Island Ferries to be very friendly and informative.

We didn't stay overnight on our trip to Inishmor but just a word of caution. Take motion sickness pills with you. The ferry ride (October) was a rough 45 minutes even though we had a beautiful sunny day and no rain. One of our friends had to lay down for 2 hours once we got there until her sickness subsided. Yes, it is worth the trip to go over -- the Island was fantastic.

Sit downstairs towards the back of the boat. Less motion. I have sea legs but our guide told us that if we were prone to sea sickness.

It didn't help us much. Fortunately, our trip back seemed less "bumpy" and shorter.
