Ferries: Blue Line or Jadrolinija?

We're taking an overnight ferry from Split to Ancona and are wondering whether to take the Blue Line or Jadro. ferry. Which one is the nicest? Are there restaurants/bars on both? Do you recommend and inside or outside berth? We're three single girls (if that fact matters)...

Another ferry question that I hope someone can answer: we'll be arriving in Dubrovnik Sept. 3 and taking the overnight ferry from Split to Ancona Sept. 18. Do we need to reserve a berth in advance, or can we do it when we arrive in Dubrovnik? I contacted Jadrolinija but received no response. Thanks.

jadrolinja does not sell online. at their web site they list european agencies (none in america.) i looked into many and ocean24.com is they only one i found that mails tickets to america with no (28euro) mailing fee or ticket fee. we ordered and got ours within a week. (i'm amazed.) their communication was very good.
