Ferries between Lesbos and Ayvalik.

​​​​​​I am planning to reserve a round trip ferry from Mytilini to Ayvalik. The return date would be 2 or 3 days after. Please, which company do you recommend for reservations (Turyol or Jalem tur)?

Do you like fast catamarans or slow ferries? Ther is furthermore a small price difference.

Fast catamaran of course !

My dates are:
21 August 2024 from Mytilini to Ayvalik in the afternoon.

23 August 2024 from Ayvalik , preferably at noon if there is availability.

Is it recommended to buy tickets from now?

In the case you plan to proceed slowly from Astypalea via Kos - Leros - Samos - Chios to Mytilini, you might check the alternative via Turkey:
Samos (Pythagorio or Vathy) - Kusadasi- Izmir - Bergama - Ayvalik - Mytilini
resp. Chios- Cesme - Izmir - Bergama - Ayvalik - Mytilini

Excellent suggestions. Both options are a great combination of Greece and Turkey.
