Fehmi Bey, Istanbul

Does anyone have any recent experience with this hotel? I found references to it in several guides, and their rates are a good bit less than other comparable hotels, plus they offer free transportation to the airport with our three-night stay.

We have booked Empress Zoe for the first three nights of our April trip, and then will be out in the country -- undecided exactly where, yet -- for the middle three nights. Suggestions for itinerary planning are most welcome!

My clients have stayed in this hotel Fehmi Bey last May.
They were very happy.
The hotel is just at corner fromBlue Mosque very convenient.

Hi

Ephesus and Cappadocia are must sees so please do include them in your itinerary. If you are strapped for time Cappadocia is my first pick. Trust me, this place is extraordinary. If you do a search of this forum you'll get suggestions for accommodation and tours.

Thanks to both of you for your comments. We are staying at Empress Zoe our first three nights, then looking at using Cappadocia Tours and their hotel (Gamirasu) outside Urgup for three nights, then returning to Istanbul for the last three nights at Fehmi Bey. If anyone has used Cappadocia Tours and this hotel, I would appreciate comments on your experience. Thanks!
