Feels Like Home In Paris - Apartment Rental
Anyone use this company? I did search here but could find nothing. Got their name on Slowtrav and they had some good reviews.
|
Very good outfit...Yetunde is very helpful. Most places also come with a computer.
|
So you have used them Gracejoan? Which apartment did you stay at? Thanks so much.

don't know about this company but I used "vacation in paris" for an apt in paris over xmas and was very happy with their service

Last year we put a down payment on the calaincourt property. had to change our plans before the refund date that is on their website. there was no problem with reimbursing our deposit less the stated penalty fee. i researched this rental agency well and even emailed some previous renters. nothing but good things to say. if we return to paris anytime soon, we would consider a rental. later, we stayed in the 9th near rue des martyrs at a place from homelidays. we loved being in the 9th and would stay there again in a heartbeat. many of yetunde's properties are in the 18th. this wouldn't disuade my at all. really some very nice areas. hope this helps.

Thanks CindyJo! Yes, so far she has been very helpful. We were staying for 5 days and looked at one property but have now decided to stay for 7 days and she is trying to find us another. She has a blackberry and is very quick to respond to all my e-mails. I have never rented an apartment before and it has always been my dream so let's hope it is "a dream come true".

Not very happy tonight. Whine Whine Whine. This gal didn't have anything for the entire time so she was kind enough to give me 3 other rental agency names. One had a nice apt. on Montmarte for the time we wanted but getting down to signing the rental agreement and I find out the apt. is double booked. Blah blah blah.
I hate VRBO. No one ever responds, it is hard to search - have to look at the apt. only to find out it is booked for my dates. Takes so much time. |
Sorry, I have not used this company, but I have used VacationInParis.com and had very good experience with it. I would recommend this company.

Sorry Yetunde did not have anything available.
You might check with www.parisvacationapartments.com They have lovely places. I have one rented for a month Sept/Oct. www.homerentalconnections.com Miohele has some good spots...I have one rented for a month April/May, 2009. You do have to make plans early. The good ones go fast! Joan |
Thanks for the links. I have checked out some of them. I am trying to find a 1 bedroom between 800 to 1000 euros - trying to make the euro go further as suggested here on this board. I have started late and I need a Thursday to a Thursday (June 26-July 3).
I do have a line on a "luxary" apt. that goes for 1200 euros but I can't figure out what is wrong with it. Newly redecorated in Mar. 2007, view of Eiffel Tower, in a really good neighborhood, but it is on the top floor of an 8 story building and no AC. It is in the 15th just off Place Cambronne. I was in Paris on July 1 2006 and it was 86 degrees. I went to the weatherunderground and that was a record! It wasn't that hot last year but no AC is taking a chance. It would not be the same experience as renting an apt. in Montmarte - more upscale. What do you think? I will post a link to the apt. if I take it so you can see. |
Post the link to the apt...someone may have stayed there...
