Feedback on Czech itinerary please..

Hi,

I'll be going to Czech Republic for the first time and i've come up with the itinerary below. I'm wondering if it's alright or maybe adjustments are needed...?

24/3 (Wed) Prague (half day)
25/3 (Thu) Prague (full day)
26/3 (Fri) Prague (half day)
Karlsbad (half day)

---------------- To Hungary----------------

03/4 (Sat) Telc (half day)
04/4 (Sun) Telc (half day)
C.Krumlov (half day)
05/4 (Mon) C.Krumlov (full day)
06/4 (Tue) Prague (half day)
07/4 (Wed) Prague (half day)
Kutna Hora (half day)
08/4 (Thu) Prague (till noon)

Total: Prague 3 days, Telc 1 day, C.Krumlov 1 day,
Karlsbad 0.5 day, Kutna Hora 0.5 day

Is my allocation of days for each place OK or should i spend more time in Prague?

ps--i flying to (24/3) and from (08/4) Prague airport

Thanks!

You may want to add a day in Karlovy Vary, that may be a better choice than Karlsbad.

kapkiuong: Good itinerary, but agree with SanParis about Karlovy Vary.
It would be more efficient to see Kutna Hora on the way down to Telc rather than on the way back to Cesky Krumlov.
If you don't mind my asking, how are you getting to Hungary and what will you do for seven days?

Karlova Vary = Karlsbad

Karlsbad = Karlova Vary

No wonder I'd never heard of it...lol

oh,wot i meant was Karlstejn..sorry for the confusion.I decided to skip Karlovy Vary becoz i'm going to Budapest which also has many thermal baths so thought mebe they are similar..? So, Karlovy Vary or Karlstejn?

We had one night in Karlsbad and wished we'd had another. We had 2 nights in Cexky Krumlov and wished we'd had another. This was summer however. We felt 4 nights in Prague were adequate.

I am planning to do a Kutna Hora day trip from Prague. Actually my full itinerary is as follows:

24/3(Wed) Prague (half day)
25/3(Thu) Prague (full day)
26/3(Fri) Prague (half day) Karlstejn or Karlovy Vary (half day)
27/3(Sat) Reach Budapest via Brno
28/3(Sun) Budapest (full day)
29/3(Mon) Budapest (full day)
30/3(Tue) Budapest or Danube Bend (full day)
31/3(Wed) Eger (half day)
01/4(Thu) Aggtelek Cave (half/full day)
02/4(Fri) Budapest (half day)
03/4(Sat) Telc via Brno (half day)
04/4(Sun) Telc (half day) night at C.Krumlov
05/4(Mon) C.Krumlov (full day)
06/4(Tue) Prague (half day)
07/4(Wed) Prague (half day) Kutna Hora (half day)
08/4(Thu) Prague till noon, then airport.

Just wondering if i should do 2.5 days Budapest and 1 day Danube Bend, or 3.5 days in Budapest?

I tried to fit Pecs in my Hungary itinerary, but i think it's too heavy for my short time i have..?

Hi
Is it possible to spend a full day in Kutna Hora. The visit to the mine is worth staying there . Csesky Krumlov is beautiful, we spent 3 days there. In the outskirts of Kutna Hora is the Sedlac Ossuary. Very unusual array of bones.

I'd add a day to Budapest. I spent 8 days there a couple of years ago and could have spent much more.
