They are all considered "First Class" hotels. Not ultra-luxurious but good, clean safe hotels. All of the creature comforts will be met!<BR>

I've seen some negatives on the Kette recently on this forum you might want to do a search. Haven't stayed at colonna but have passed it, looks good and excellent ocation...just a few steps from Giolotti!!

The Kette--Excellent location. Just a few minutes from Piazza San Marco. No view. Clean rooms. I have stayed there several times and would choose it again. Boots

Just returned from Paris and stayed at the Jardin D'Eiffel. Hotel was in a great location. Close to Rue Cler, Invalids, and Eiffel Tower. Some of the rooms have a view of the Eiffel Tower. The rooms were clean, bathrooms nice, and the hotel staff helpful. The hotel also provided a nice breakfast, which we had out on the terrace with a view of the Eiffel Tower. I loved the neighborhood. Felt very safe. Nice cafes within a couple of blocks and the area is quiet at night. If you are looking for night life, you won't find it in this neighborhood, but it was exactly the kind of neighborhood we were looking for. Excellent prices for wine at a local grocery store close by. Also, the hotel is convenient to a metro stop. I would stay at the hotel again.
