February in Europe?

Anyone know where to go for a February vacation of one week? Do not want severe cold...not a skiing vacation but a touring one.
Thanks,
Ollie

Southern Italy - from Rome on down south. It never gets really cold (by my New York/Chicago standards) in Rome - but it can be a lot less crowded that time of year. Check a calendar to be sure you're not going to conflict with Ash Wednesday, but other than that it should be smooth sailing!

I hear Paris - which is where I hope to go in January. It's around 40 degrees but many activities are indoors.

Madeira

Can do touring - is more landscapes, flora and small towns than major sights but good weather at that time.
