I didn't fly into Rome last year (only out), but the previous year there was much construction. Hopefully, it's completed.

I'm not sure why you'd walk from Terminal 2 (primarily, the easyjet check-in Terminal at FCO) to Terminal 3?
Often the airlines have not updated their info from before the "name change" of the terminals. So if your airline is saying you'll be arriving at T2 or T5... their website is wrong. T2 and T5 are departure-only terminals. Luggage claim (and thus arrivals) are only in T3 and T1.
The good news is that terminals are fairly close together (although don't believe the signs that FCO posts saying you have a 5 minute walk from T1 to T3!). You can easily walk out the front door of T1, T2, and T3 and walk along the sidewalk to the next terminal. If you're behind security, you'll be dealing in GATES, not TERMINALS. You can walk between all gates but it's more of a challenge than out on the unsecured sidewalk area. Regardless, it is well signed and you'll have no trouble finding your way.
If you looking to go from gates B,C, and D towards Gates G and H (the international gates), it would take you 8-15 minutes depending on where you started. The B gates hallway is QUITE long! Once you arrived at Gates G and H, you'd have to go through passport control... not sure where you're headed!
The good news is that gates B, C, and D are easily walkable in 3-5 minutes. I was there a few days ago and MOST construction that you'll be able to see is completed. There are still many projects on the boards for FCO and much work being done behind the scenes.
Here's a post with some interior shots of the B,C, and D gates (towards the end of the article). It can give you a good idea of the signage. Good Luck:

rineurope: Hi, the reason why i was asking that is, because i m taking a bus from termini to FCO, the bus will stop me at T3. BUT i have to get to T2 to take my flight out to Basel.
Therefore, i was wondering how far is it to walk from T3 to T2. =) and i can work backwards what time i should catch the bus.

OK, The bus depot is now at the far end of Terminal 3 - the south end furthest from T2. If you're taking a bus that will stop at the depot, it's about a 8-10 minute walk back to T2 and into the check-in area.
