laartista,
Do you mean Whichcraft in Dublin? That was one of my favorite stops on our 2002 trip. I bought some Lisbeth Mulcahey scarves on our trip last month that I really like and wish were not all intended as gifts. I'd love to get one of her wall tapestry pieces. |
Yes!! Witchcraft in Dublin. They have one large gallery and a smaller gallery at another location. I loved that store. Thank you, I'm going to write it down for future, I think they have a website.

Hi again laartista. The website is http://www.designyard.ie/gallery_intro.htm
We bought some lovely jewelry there in 2002, and would have loved to have bought some sculpture, woodwork, and painting. If only my pockets were a little deeper! |
Oh..my bookmark for the site was www.whichcraft.ie. That now leads to the site above. It looks as if whichcraft has changed its name to Designyard.

Thanks so much oopsy. I went to the sitew and loved these ceramic fish mask hangings so I went over to my mask and they are by the same artist. I think I'll order one. Liz Burgess is the artist.

Connemara peatd Irish Whiskey!
|
My soft green wool cape I bought in Kenmare. It has a heavy one snap closure at the neck and a hood. I can't wait to wear it when cold weather returns!
|
A huge stained glass (hand designed and painted) goblet from a store in Donegal Town. Really beautiful especially with the right light. Also bought the typical crystal, ceramic bud vases with shamrocks & a wool sweater (very cute for my 6 yr. old son with lambs across the bottom - from the Harbor store in Killybegs.) But, we especially like the goblet because it is a more unique Irish made item than the typical stuff. It has an old world, medieval feel to it, haven't seen anything like it here.

A pink Connemara pendant.
|
A large Waterford vase and a couple of Phil Coulter CD's. It was the lovely music we heard when we checked into the Clare Inn our first night in Ireland.
|
My most favorite items were a few pieces of crystal I bought at the Waterford Crystal place-pieces you can only purchase there.
