What is your favorite place in Turkey outside Istanbul?

There are many favarite place in Turkey. If you have time here are the MOST PLACE TO VISIT:

1) Istanbul (You have to stay at least 3 days)

2) Troia (canakkale)

3) Pergamum

4) Ephesus (you have to stay at least 3 days here SELCUK is the place you might stay or KUSADASI other places)

5) Pamukkale

6) Konya ( You may stay here 1 day)

7) Antalya (Your must stay in this town 3 nights)

8) Cappadocia (Is the place you have to spend 3 days)


I think this place are enough for the first visitors. When you finish this trip you can go back to Turkey visit other part of area

Cappadocia in Anatolia, Kalkan at the coast...

If you only have one choice, Cappadocia without question. You will never see another place in the world like it.

My favorite was Ephesus, I love the ancient ruins.

capadoccia - no question. However, if you want something near Istanbul, I suggest Bursa (for the day) or Princess Island (for the afternoon)
