Leaving for Paris on June 9. What are your favorite picnic locations in the city?

When we lived there in the 70's, we had an apt just off Rue Amelie, near the Tower. We would often walk over to Rue Cler (before Rick Steves "discovered" it) and pick up some wine, cheese, fruit & bread and walk to the Champs du Mars, on the back side of the Tower.

Great place to picnic and the view at dusk was memorable.

Hope you enjoy Paris as much as we do.

Rich

On a boat cruise on the Seine. Obviously not the overpriced dinner cruise.
