My favorite is the music box from Sorrento and also I bought a waste basket in Florence at the market which folds up flat. It has scenes from Florence on it. I think it was 10 euros.

I have filled entire suitcases with food. Everything from fresh bread, cheeses, cakes, oo flour for making pasta, pinnoli nuts, bouillon, olive oil, modena vinegar, wines, olives,etc.
Then I have "make your own pasta dinners" and sparingly take my Italian items from the freezer or shelf to share with my guests. They feel special and I am flooded with incredible memories of my trips to Italy.
If I am careful my goodies can last until my next trip to Italy!
