Bring whatever they like from your area but can't be obtained easily in theres. It does really help if it's small. My cousin from Florida only wants White Castles from Chicago and these are super hard to carry, but I have done it for him. My relatives in Arizona want Fannie Mae candy. My old neighbor when returning to her birthplace in Vietnam only bring boxes and boxes of hand soap, as that is what they want the most. She brought a whole suitcase full of it last time. It is so expensive in
Vietnam that they can not afford it there.

I have a friend who lives outside of Aberdeen, Scotland. When I visit this Spring, among other things, I will bring a sourvenir from the 4 Mile House in Denver. I hear there is a 4 Mile House outside of Aberdeen.

Now having a destination in mind, like Scotland, I see road signs, recreation centers, people I know in Denver that have a connection with the place, or the name of places in Scotland that we will be visiting. There is a Glencoe St. here. Visiting friends in Scotland... I wonder if I should hijack the street sign to bring as a momento? Better not...!
